    We surveyed our members at the end of last year to help choose topics for our 2017 Power Lunch Series sponsored by Waller. Based on your response, the Nashville LGBT Chamber is excited to offer our members and potential members MANAGE U.

    Thanks to Waller, we will offer 4 Power Lunches focused on management. LGBT and Ally professionals will learn about managing their employees, supervisors, board, network, self, finances, time, and business.

    2016 Topics and Summary:

    Self Identification for LGBT Employees  Lisa Howe will moderate this panel made up of ERG leaders and HR professionals, and an attorney from KPMG, Cummins, and the Metro Human Relations Commission. Experts will talk about the value of and methods for employees voluntarily identifying as LGBT, disabled, or veteran.

    Charitable Giving - Community Shares Tennessee and The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee representatives will discuss their organizations and how they help donors make the most of their charitable giving. LGBT Chamber members who are participating in the Big Payback will have an opportunity to discuss their initiatives.

    Marketing  Professionals from Emma and Parachute Media will share their expertise on converting e-mail marketing and social media marketing into sales.

    Addiction in the Workplace  Professionals from Addiction Campuses, Cumberland Heights, and Waller will demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of retaining and working with employees who suffer from addiction themselves or live with a family member who suffers from addiction.
