Tribe & PLAY Dance Bar raise more than $16k for Tornado Relief

[Nashville, TN]: Over the past five days, Tribe & PLAY Dance Bar held fundraisers for tornado relief to support those impacted by the devastating Nashville tornadoes. Many in the Middle Tennessee LGBTQ+ community were affected directly by this tragic event. More than $16,000 was raised, including a $7,000 match from Play, and has been distributed as follows:

    $4000 - Hands On Nashville
$4000 - Oasis Center - Just Us Program for LGBTQ+ youth & families impacted
    $2000 - Nashville Humane Association
    $2000 - Martha O’Bryan Center

The remainder of the money will go to current and former entertainers and staff who were directly impacted by the storm, including two who lost everything. Customers also donated a large amount of canned goods, toiletries, pet supplies, and first aid items that will be donated to the Community Resource Center to support their relief efforts.

Tribe and Play are proud to be a part of the Nashville community and are grateful to all of our customers and friends for their generosity in our city’s time of need.
