HCA HEALTHCARE/TRISTAR HEALTH
September 22, 2020 - Nashville, TN – The Nashville LGBT Chamber has launched a new Classroom Connect Series to help LGBT and allied business owners expand their entrepreneurial skillset with educational webinars that connect participants to trusted experts. The Classroom Connect Series is made possible thanks to HCA Healthcare/TriStar Health, who joined as the title sponsor of the Classroom Connect Series. Classroom Connect is part of the Nashville LGBT Chamber’s broader Rainbow Connection Programming, which provides networking, ongoing education, and other business opportunities to its members.
Held on the third Thursday of each month, Classroom Connect is an educational webinar series designed to help our members and broader LGBT and ally community educate themselves and grow professionally. Whether you are a small business owner, an employee in that small business or a corporate company, or a budding entrepreneur, this series will help you learn a new skill and improve your knowledge and grow your skills. The Classroom Connect Series features local experts on topics like:
HCA Healthcare/TriStar Health’s generous sponsorship of Classroom Connect grants access for members and non-members alike to information. During the COVID-19 pandemic when all programming has gone online, and education and knowledge are needed more than ever, the financial contribution from HCA Healthcare makes sure the Chamber can bring that to its members and the broader community. HCA Healthcare/ TriStar Health is a long-standing supporter of diversity, inclusion, and the LGBT community-at-large. HCA Healthcare/TriStar Health was the first Platinum member of the Nashville LGBT Chamber and has been a title sponsor of the Pride in Business Awards.
“HCA Healthcare is the perfect fit to be the member that sponsors our educational programming. Since joining the Chamber they have been interested in funding causes and programs that help our small business members and the broader LGBT community in the best way possible. Education and knowledge on how to grow and expand professionally is core to what they want to see and to what Classroom Connect does.” says Joe Woolley, CEO of the Nashville LGBT Chamber.
Woolley continued, “Our corporate members are stepping up and supporting the work that matters right now, for the LGBT Chamber that work is helping our community and our members get through these difficult times. We thank HCA Healthcare for their continued support with us and the many other areas of the Nashville community they also support.”
